You are a prism. A multifaceted, shape-shifting thing of beauty who's been molded by every experience you've ever lived through. Within you exists a unique spectrum of color and possibility. And, when you encompass light, you refract a wondrous complexity of starry sky beauty. Like the stars, you deserve to shine bright, for it is a gift not only to yourself, but to the world around you.
I am also a prism.
I was born into this world and given the name Vanessa. I, too, have been formed by my experiences. Confronted by trauma, adversity, and the darker corners of the human experience, I’ve dedicated myself to a life-long vision: that healing, love and light can triumph over darkness.
The journey has been anything but simple, but with every step toward healing, new sparks of light have emerged. Though at my core I am shy, I now choose to let my light shine.
And so, PRISMATICA was realized.
PRISMATICA is not a separate person, an alter ego, or an idealized “perfect” version of me. The essence of empowerment that exists in the universe, yet needing to be lit; she is my vision electrified. She is the voice where I was once silent. Colorful where my life once felt dim. A living symbol of the sparks of love, acceptance, and courage that continue to be forged within me, she refracts a celebration of healing, individuality, and the beauty found in our differences. A vibrant artistic expression of the resilience, empowerment, and enlightened perspective forged through my healing journey.
She does not represent an escape from reality, but rather an illumination of it to help ignite the light that exists within each of us.
